the wood on the lookout for medieval village of Montefienali. My curiosity had been roused on reading a volume that spoke of its restoration and its architectural value. I am a witness of its unique and beautiful history. At the beginning of the 1990s Montefienali, that stands on the

  western slope of the Apennine range of the Chianti Mountains, at 600 metres on the western slopes of Mount Luco, was a relict amongst the vegetation, a block of stone that was abandoned and lost over time.
